Snap Decision has contestants make quick judgments about three strangers based on their man-on-the-street interviews for a chance to win up to $10,000. Hosted by comedian/actor David Alan Grier, the show is set to premiere on 20 Sinclair-owned stations in August and on GSN starting August 7 at 9:00pm ET. After the network’s four-hour marathon debut of the new show, new episodes will air in its regular time slot on Tuesday nights at 9:00pm and 9:30pm ET starting August 8. Air times will vary in syndication. Snap Decision is created by veteran game show producer Scott St. John and executive produced by Tornante TV co-president Lauren Corrao. Tornante and Sinclair Broadcast Group are producing the new game show.
Snap Decision joins the roster of new game shows entering syndication this year, including the observational game show iWitness created by Judge Judy and hosted by John Henson (premieres July 10) and a revival of the comedic celebrity game show Funny You Should Ask produced by Byron Allen and hosted by Jon Kelley (premieres this fall).
Let’s hope GSN does not decide to abruptly yank this syndicated show from its schedule before the first episode airs like the network had done with Monopoly Millionaires’ Club in 2015.
