The latest revamp of the dating game show has been given the green light by the network to return for more episodes. Andy Cohen will return as the host and co-executive producer of the show along with executive producer Mike Fleiss. This is the second summer series to be renewed by FOX after deciding to give the Name-That-Tune-style game show Beat Shazam another season a few weeks ago.
Similar to the original 80s syndicated version, Love Connection gives a single contestant a chance at finding true love by going on three dates in a week. After the audience gets an opportunity to hear about all of the intimate details about the dates, the contestant picks which of the single candidates they want to take on a romantic vacation getaway. If the contestant’s selection matches with the audience vote, he/she could also win $10,000.
