After the news surfaced yesterday that the Australian network were cutting ties with Feud, it looks like the UK import Pointless will be taking its place. Endemol Shine Australia is producing the new series and is searching for contestants from New South Wales to compete on the upcoming show.
Pointless has four pairs of teams give obscure answers to a variety of questions responded by a survey of 100 people in an attempt to score the least amount of points, with points equalling the total number of people who responded in the same manner. Responding with “pointless” answers, or answers that were not given by the 100 people surveyed, adds additional money into the day’s jackpot and could win the winning team the jackpot in the end game. Hosted by Alexander Armstrong with Richard Osman serving as co-host, Pointless has been a staple of BBC One’s daytime lineup for the past nine years and Network Ten is looking to emulate the show’s success in Australia.
No word yet on who will host the show.

i am all for progress but nah… I’ve seen Pointless on the ABC… about as exciting as a wall full of dead millipedes… i think Ten will regret losing Grant Denyer and a show tbat still had legs and i tire of iconic shows going when the ratings are fine… you lost me Channel Ten.
