Fremantle Names New Executive Producers/Showrunners For “The Price Is Right” & “Let’s Make A Deal”

Less than almost a month after it was announced that longtime executive producer of The Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal Mike Richards would be leaving both shows and Fremantle to sign a multi-year deal with Sony Pictures Television, Fremantle revealed Richards’ successors for the popular CBS daytime game shows on Monday. Evelyn Warfel is the new EP/showrunner for The Price Is Right and John Quinn is the new EP/showrunner for Let’s Make A Deal.

Making history as the first woman to become the EP of The Price Is Right, Warfel has produced more than a dozen game shows throughout her career. Prior to her promotion, Warfel served as the co-executive producer of The Price Is Right and as a supervising producer for Let’s Make A Deal during her ongoing 10-year stint with Fremantle. While working on TPIR, she has seen the show win three Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Game Shows and earn seven nominations.  With Warfel at the helm, Adam Sandler is now the show’s new co-executive producer after serving as a two-time Emmy Award-winning director for the past six years.

Moving on to TPIR‘s sister show, new Let’s Make A Deal executive producer and showrunner Quinn is a veteran game show producer and has spent the past six years working for Fremantle. Quinn has been involved with several shows including serving as an executive producer for Celebrity Name Game, an executive producer for Match Game and is the current EP/showrunner for ABC’s revival of Press Your Luck. Chris Aheam, Graham Shaw and Jennifer Langheld will serve as the co-executive producers for LMAD.

The Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal return for their respective 48th and 11th seasons this fall on CBS.
