After the new series was revealed during GSN’s annual upfront presentation in March, the network has set the premiere date for America Says for June 18 at 5:00pm ET. The half-hour show will air weekdays from Monday through Friday. Hosted by actor John Michael Higgins (Pitch Perfect, The Break-Up, Best In Show, Great News), America Says has two teams of friends and family compete against each other by guessing how Americans responded to fill-in-the-blank survey questions that cover a variety of topics. The team with the most money after three rounds advances to the bonus round for a chance to answer more survey questions and win up to $15,000.
The series is based on a format by Keller/Noll and is executive produced by John Quinn, Tara Long and Mark Herwick of Entertainment One (eOne), and Cleve Keller and Dave Noll of Keller/Noll.
Stay tuned for America Says next month on GSN!
I left a comment a few weeks ago about Higgins being repetitive but I think it needs repeating ( as he does).
I do like the show but if HE continues to REPEAT “”FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS”” I will not ONLY be ill I WILL grab my remote. One episode I counted THAT phrase EIGHT TIMES, EIGHT TIMES…that means only 22 minutes of air time,,,EIGHT TIMES (tired of ME repeating EIGHT TIMES? UH HUH!!) Call itin other terms,i.e., Bonus Round……Big Money… Championship Round, etc,? Change it up. FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS 3 times on a 22 minute episode is bareable, but JUST tolerable,I’ll continue to watch.
Tell him to WATCH FILMS of HIMSELF to see WHAT WE SEE…he looks terrible when HE SQUATS,KICKS OUT HIS FOOT ,etc. I think he looks terribly femine. Sorry, but I do.
